In reading and social studies, we have been learning about our community and helpers. We also have been discussing the different kinds of communities. In math, we are learning about numberlines and how we can use them.

Next week, we will be having a "breakfast feast" with Ms. Morrill's class. We have been learning alot about the first feast and the pilgrims' voyage to America.

This week has been a busy week. In math, we continued practicing finding the values of an assortment of nickels and pennies. In reading and science, we learned about wild animals around the world and talked about how animals get ready for winter. On the africam, students were able to see warthogs and owls live in Africa. Check the link on my blog. In writing, students created a gourd and will write about it.
Friday we have vet tech students from CCT demonstrating and showing how we take care of pets.
